Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Hand & Heart Reading Co.

At Hand & Heart Reading Co. (“we,” “us,” “our”), we strive to provide high-quality educational products and services to our families. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which you may request a refund and how we handle refund requests.

  1. Eligibility for Digital Product Refunds
    Refunds are generally available for digital products (e.g., downloads, guides, online courses) within 14 days of purchase.

 

Refund requests must include your proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or invoice).

To be eligible for a refund, the product must not have been fully accessed, downloaded, or used in a way that prevents resale or distribution.

  1. Reading Program Session Refunds
    Hand & Heart Reading Co. offers structured reading programs that run in scheduled sessions (for example, 8-week programs).

 

Full refunds are available if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the first class of the session.

​

Once the session begins, refunds are not available because your child’s seat has been reserved for the full program.

 

If a student misses a class, refunds cannot be issued for the missed session. Families may still receive any materials, resources, or activities shared during that class.

If Hand & Heart Reading Co. must cancel a class, a make-up session or prorated refund for that class will be offered.

  1. Tutoring Session Refunds (Individual Sessions)
    For individual tutoring sessions scheduled outside of a program session, refunds are available only if notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

 

Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance may not be eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled at our discretion.

 

If you purchase a package of tutoring sessions, unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rated basis depending on how many sessions have already been completed.

Refund requests for tutoring must include the session date(s) and payment confirmation.

  1. Non-Refundable Items
    The following are not eligible for refunds:

 

Products that have been fully downloaded or accessed

 

Any products explicitly marked as final sale

 

Reading program sessions that have already begun

 

Tutoring sessions that were attended without prior cancellation

 

Subscription services unless otherwise stated

Refunds will be reviewed and, if approved, issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

    In some cases, a partial refund may be offered depending on the product, service, or usage.

The specific amount of the partial refund will be determined at our discretion based on usage, attendance, and delivery of the product or service.
